Parking Appeals

Any person who receives a University parking citation and believes there are valid reasons to 应用程序eal the citation, may file an 应用程序eal in writing within 7 days.

Vehicles parked outside of compliance with UWF Parking 规定 will be ticketed. It is the responsibility of the permit owner to allow time for parking in spaces designated for their user group.

Ticket payment and 应用程序eals process

Paying for a parking citation –Citations are paid online via MyUWF. (Search for the "Parking Transaction Portal" 应用程序.) View the "Citations" area to view your citations, view 应用程序eals and pay your parking ticket(s). 访问 应用程序ealing a parking ticket (link) in Confluence for step-by-step instructions. 注意: If you have a citation dated prior to July 9, 2014, pay in Cashier's Office via check or money order.

Submitting an 应用程序eal – Within 7 days of receiving the parking citation in question, you may submit an 应用程序eal for consideration via MyUWF. (Search for the "Parking Transaction Portal" 应用程序.) Most of the information necessary to fill out the 应用程序eals form can be found printed on the citation.

上诉的水平 – Appeals are handled on two progressive levels. 的 第一级 is an in-house review by the Parking Services Manager. Those submitting an 应用程序eal will receive an email response with the outcome of the 第一级 within 5 business days. Appeals denied at this level will automatically be forwarded to the 二级 of 应用程序eal. 的 二级 of 应用程序eal is conducted by 的 Parking Violations Appeals Board (PVAB). 的 person making the 应用程序eal is entitled to be present during the the PVAB meeting. A notification of the outcome of the 二级 will be emailed after the PVAB meeting.

  • All 应用程序eals will be heard by the Board once
  • All decisions by the Board are final and binding

PVAB Meeting Schedule – 的 date, time and location of the next PVAB meeting will be posted on MyUWF "Parking Transaction Portal" 应用程序 main page and on the "View Your Appeals" page two weeks prior to the meeting date.
